CCPH Call for Sessions Proposals/Poster Presentations Posters Community-Campus Partnerships for Health is seeking proposals for sessions and poster presentations for the CCPH's next conference, April 30 - May 3, 2014 in Chicago, IL. The conference theme is "From Rhetoric to Reality: Achieving Authentic, Equitable & Transformative Partnerships". Proposals are due September 30, 2013 for skill-building workshops, creative art sessions, stories, roundtable discussions and posters that advance the conference theme. SCTR Scientific Retreat on Pain Research The spring SCTR Scientific Retreat has been set for Friday, May 23rd from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm in the MUSC bioengineering building auditorium, located at 68 President Street in Charleston. The keynote speaker will be Roger B. Fillingim, PhD, president of the American Pain Society (APS), professor at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, and Director at UF Pain Research and Intervention Center for Excellence. Potential speakers need to register by noon on Monday, February 28th and include their abstract. This activity has been approved for AMA PRA category 1 credit™.
