REDCap Fee-For-Service Announcement 

 
REDCap users,
 
The REDCap Team at MUSC would like to announce the implementation of a fee-for-service alternative to database creation andmaintenance.  We will still provideinitial consultations to discuss general REDCap features and address databases pecific questions and provide continuing support for databases in production free-of-charge but we will also offer more comprehensive services for a fee of100 dollars per hour. 
 
REDCap Database Build (8 hour minimum)
We will build your database for you.  The 8-hour minimum includes extendedone-on-one consultations and the minimum time required to create a database from scratch. The time required to create a database depends on the study design, the number and length of casereport forms, and the nuances of the data collected.  After the 8 hour minimum has been reached, additional services will be billed by the hour.
 
REDCap Survey Build (4 hour minimum)
We will build your survey for you. The 4-hour minimum includes extended one-on-one consultations and the minimum time required to create a survey from scratch. The time to create a survey depends on the design and the nuances of the datacollected.  After the 4-hour minimum hasbeen reached, additional services will be billed by the hour.
 
REDCap Extended Consultation
We will provide extended one-on-one consultations to those who have specific issues pertaining to their database or survey creation.  This option may be useful to those who employ more complex databases or surveys and plan on using advanced REDCap functions. This is also for by-the-hour services and time required beyond the initial 8 hour database build.
 
REDCap Database/Survey Review (2 hour minimum)
We will review your database or survey for you.  You may choose to create your own database orsurvey and the REDCap team can act as proofreaders prior to moving your work toproduction mode. Reviewing is anessential step before actual data is collected and entered and we will review for you and correct any potential obstacles to the efficient collection of yourdata.
